SITAMS Computer Center serves as the technological backbone of the institution, providing state-of-the-art computing infrastructure to meet the academic, research, and administrative needs of students and faculty. It plays a vital role in promoting digital literacy, innovation, and effective use of technology in education.
The center is equipped with 800 high-performance computers installed with the latest hardware configurations and licensed software(Microsoft Campus Agreement) to support diverse computing requirements such as programming, simulation, data analysis, and design. All systems are connected through a high-speed Virtual LAN with 1GBPS internet access provided via BSNL, Airtel dedicated leased line, ensuring seamless connectivity and efficient access to online resources.
The facility is fully air-conditioned and designed with ergonomic seating and spacious work areas to provide a comfortable learning environment. Regular system upgrades and maintenance ensure that the infrastructure remains up to date with the latest technological advancements.
To support academic activities, the Computer Center is utilized for laboratory sessions, online assessments, skill development programs, workshops, and faculty training sessions. Students are encouraged to make use of the facility for project work, coding practice, and research activities.
The center also provides printing, scanning, and multimedia support, enabling users to complete academic and administrative tasks efficiently. Adequate power backup ensures uninterrupted service even during power outages.
A team of qualified technical staff manages the day-to-day operations of the center, providing user support, troubleshooting, and maintenance. Strict security measures, including user authentication and firewall protection, are implemented to safeguard data and ensure a secure digital environment.
