The Department of Civil Engineering was established in 2012 at SITAMS College Chittoor with an annual intake 30, besides an additional 20% under lateral entry scheme.

Department is headed by Mrs. K. Sumalatha. She obtained her bachelors degree from CBIT /JNTU Anantapur. She passsion in the field of civil engineering made she to obtain masters degree from AVR &SVR /JNTU Anantapur.

The department encourages a symbiosis of Thought. Word and Action through its innovative and career-oriented programmes. The department continuously plans to raise a cadre of exceptional professionals to ensure delivery of excellent skills to the industry they are absorbed in.

The department adopts at innovative civil tools, including Total Stations, GPS Augmented Reality (AR) devices and advanced civil structural softwares, such as STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAP2000, AutoCAD Civil 30 to help modern civil engineering techniques and those llodity, prepare the students for the future.
