About Head of the Department
Dr. R. Saraswathi., M.C.A., Ph.D.,
Associate Professor and Head of the Department
Dr. R. Saraswathi is currently working as an Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Master of Computer Applications (MCA) at Sreenivasa Institute of Technology and Management Studies, Chittoor. She has nearly 20 years of academic experience, including dedicated teaching and research experience in the field of Computer Applications. She completed her Ph.D. and M.Phil. from Periyar University. Throughout her academic career, she has been actively involved in teaching, research, and academic administration. She has published 15 research papers in reputed international journals and has presented 12 research papers in both international and national conferences. She has also served as a resource person for various webinars, sharing her expertise with students and faculty members. In addition, she has organized and conducted several workshops, seminars for academic enrichment. She has served as an External Examiner for various Autonomous colleges during her academic career. She is also a Board of Studies (BOS) member in other colleges, contributing to curriculum development and academic planning. With her strong academic background and leadership, she continues to guide the MCA department toward academic excellence and research development.
